Registration

An Annual Registration Fee is due once a year at the time of registration along with a one month Tuition Deposit. Deposit will be applied to cover the cost of the last month of the dancer’s last session providing 28 days notice has been given. Without notice, the deposit is not refundable. The registration fee is $45.00 for an individual student or $60.00 per family. A pro-rated registration fee is available for students beginning mid-year. 

• Annual Registration (August – July)        $45.00 (Individual) $60.00 (Family)
• Beginning after January 1     $30.00 (Individual) $45.00 (Family)
• Summer Only     $15.00 (Individual)

IMPORTANT: Registration Fees are non-refundable.

Tuition

Tuition is the fee that covers the cost of the student's dance education program from August to May. You can pay annually, per semester, or into monthly installments! If you choose monthly installments, tuition is due on the 20th of every month. Any monthly tuition not paid by the 25th of each month will accrue a late fee, which will be enforced. Tuition DOES NOT include any fees related to competition, performance opportunities, costumes, privates, recitals, etc. Tuition is non-refundable. Any accounts that go past due and are not paid may result in being sent to a collection agency.

>Fall Semester | August - December

    *Enrollment ends Oct 31st

>Spring Semester | January - May

   *Enrollment ends March 31st

>Summer Semester | June - July

Late Fee Policy

There will be a $25.00 fee added to any monthly installment received after the 25th of the month.

You are responsible for making sure payment is received on time in order to avoid any additional fees.

Payment Methods

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, Debit Cards, Checks and Cash however all student's will need to have an active card on file. You may pay in-person, over the phone, and/or set up monthly automatic payments.

> Checks written to: High Standard Dance Company
> A $35 fee will be added for any returned checks.
> We do not accept Money Orders, Traveler’s Checks, Venmo, Cashapp, or Zelle.

Class Placement

Dancers will be placed by age group. Please do not ask for your child to be moved. If necessary, the Director may move a child due to ability, however this will be rare.

Preschool = 2 - 5       Minis = 6 - 9         Juniors = 9 - 13        Teen | Senior = 13 - 19        Adults = 20 & up

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for those wanting more one-on-one training & are not included as part of the Unlimited Package. If you are interested in scheduling a Private, please speak with Ms. Katy.

~ 3 student max in a Private
~ Fee due in order to reserve time slot for Non-HSDC students
~ Fee due before the start of any Private for HSDC students

Withdrawal Policy

We certainly understand that life events happen out of our control, and we have to put a slight pause on the things we love. A withdrawal form will need to be filled out and returned within 28 days before the next billing statement. You are welcome to return back at any point as long as space is still available in that class and there is no past due balance.

The Registration Fee & month deposit is non-refundable.

Annual End of Year Showcase

This is a fun show where loved ones & friends can come watch and see what your kids have been up to in their classes. There will be an EOY shirt, showcase tickets, video, photos, & flowers available for purchase. Information will be released in February and payments will be due in March. Free admission for performers and little one’s 3 & under!

EOY Showcase will take place towards the end of May | beginning of June.

Attendance

Your child’s presence/commitment in class is imperative for their growth and hinders group classes when it comes to formations & placement with choreography. If you have to miss a class, you have up to two weeks to make-up the hours missed. There is no pro-ration for missed classes for any reason.

HSDC follows the Volusia County school system for breaks and holidays.

Class Attire

Preschool Classes & Ballet Classes | Leotard, Convertible Tights, Ballet shoes

Hip-Hop & Tap Classes | Comfortable clothing or athletic wear as long as it is appropriate. Sneakers & Black Tap shoes

All other classes | Form fitting dance wear or athletic wear with corresponding shoes for that class

Social Media Policy

High Standard Dance Company requests your permission for your child’s video/photo/image to be published on the Studio’s Facebook page, website, flyers/brochures, and other social media outlets.

High Standard Dance Company does not condone any inappropriate posts on social media. Students/dancers should be respectful towards themselves and others. Think about how you want people to know/remember you. Zero tolerance for bullying and/or belittling of any sorts to any students/dancers part of High Standard Dance Company or ANY other studios. HSDC is a family. We lift others up, not put them down. 

High Standard Dance Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any students handling themselves unprofessionally or inappropriately.

Important

Students must have their own water bottle handy in all classes for water breaks & refills.

Each student should have a dance bag where ALL shoes should be easily accessible.

No jewelry except for stud earrings


Please use restroom before class begins.

Clap at the end of class to show respect to your teacher, the other dancers, and yourself. 


Cell phones must be silenced and in a dance bag during class. No cell phones in class unless permission from the teacher has been given to record a routine or combo.
